Leadership

A volunteer board elected by members, and a local management team accountable to you.

Who runs NCACU? As a cooperative, NCACU is governed by a volunteer board of directors elected by the membership. The board sets direction on behalf of all members, while a local management team runs day-to-day operations. (Individual names and bios are illustrative in this design preview.)

Accountable to members, not shareholders

Every member has a voice and a vote. Our board members are volunteers from the communities we serve, and our leadership team lives and works in Michigan — so the people guiding NCACU are your neighbors.

  • Democratically elected volunteer board
  • Local executive and branch leadership
  • Annual meeting open to the membership
